Crude Protein

Crude protein is the chemical analysis of feed where the amount of nitrogen is used to estimate the amount of protein in the feed (CP= %N x 6.25). The amount of protein in the feed that is bio-available may be lower than the crude protein, depending on protein source and environmental variables.
