Disease: Psittacosis

Agent: Bacteria

Vectors: Birds (especially pigeons), parakeets, poultry, waterfowl

Route: Inhalation, especially from dry feces

Symptoms: Flu-like, anorexia, pneumonia. Can be fatal.
