Disease: Encephalitis

Vectors: Birds, bats, some rodents, jackrabbits (via mosquitoes)

Route: Mosquito bites

Symptoms: Mild flu-like to severe. Can be fatal. (There's a high fatality rate in horses afflicted with Eastern equine encephalitis.)
