My interests are in the use of geospatial technology tools (GIS, GPS, Remote Sensing) in the precision agriculture and natural resource management. I collaborate with other extension educators to assist people who are adapting geospatial technologies into farm and ranch businesses, forestry, community and economic development and youth and educational activities. My main focus is on assisting in implementing these tools in agriculture and community development.

The NDSU Agricultural and Biosystems Extension geospatial activities focus on these target areas...

  • Precision agriculture
  • Professional training projects provides additional opportunities to learn skills in the advanced use of geospatial technologies among County Extension Agents (CEAs) and other natural resource professionals
  • Community economic development
