Krishona Martinson, University of Minnesota

Dr. Martinson received her BS in Agronomy from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and her Masters and PhD in Weed Science for the University of Minnesota.

She has worked for the University of Minnesota Extension Service since 2001, and is currently a Regional Extension Educator and the Chairperson of the U of M Horse Team and Program.

Her specializations include pasture management, weed control, poisonous plants, and horse hay. Her research interests include weed control, equine grazing management, and hay quality.

Dr. Martinson also breeds, trains and shows Foundation Quarter Horses.
