The Money Talks series is broken into three modules:

  • Should I Be Listening?
  • Should I Be Banking?
  • Should I Be Charging?

These cover ten financial topics, for example; money personality, shopping savvy, saving, car buying, banking, and credit. Selected topics are those teens said they wanted to learn about.

The purpose of Money Talks is to create a multicultural site that provides teens with accurate, non-biased information and hands-on experiences in financial management. Teens need access to information on ATM cards, debit cards, and online banking, as well as how to manage a checking account and credit card. Money Talks encourages teens to create healthy money habits now for a secure financial future.

Teachers can request a password to access the teacher’s section of the web site. This section contains leader’s guides with background information, lesson plans, additional activities, assessments, and visuals for each of the ten financial topics covered.
