National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF)

Last Updated: November 15, 2006 | Related resource areas: Personal Finance

Deposits in credit unions are insured to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), which is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Like the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's (FDIC) Bank Insurance Fund and the Savings Association Insurance Fund, the NCUSIF is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States.

I would like to find ratings of credit unions insured by NCUSIF. I did not find my credit union on the NCUA ratings site.
