Resolution

Resolution is used with digital images to describe the amount of detail contained in the image.

Resolution refers to the ability of a remote sensing system to record and display fine spatial, spectral, temporal, and radiometric detail. It can also be defined in terms of the ability to record levels of brightness and detail.
