Roundup Ready Flex

Trademark term applied to varieties that contain a gene system inserted into the plant's DNA that imparts both vegetative and reproductive tolerance to the herbicide glyphosate (e.g. Roundup). The Roundup Ready Flex system consists of the same gene found in Roundup Ready cotton, but a different promoter is utilized which imparts improved expression of the gene.
