BATON ROUGE, La. -- Anyone who has been bitten by a fire ant knows about the sting these little pests can inflict. A fire ant can sting several times within seconds. By quickly removing the ants from your body, you can avoid additional stings. LSU AgCenter entomologist Dr. Dale Pollet explains how to treat a sting.
