Team Morgan,an annual international multi-discipline competition program for Morgan horse youth ages 14-21, is looking for new applicants to compete on its 2009 Fall team.

Team Morgan Looking for New Applicants; 2009 Event at Jubilee Regional


SHELBURNE, VT—Team Morgan is looking for applicants for its 2009 fall team, which will compete at the Jubilee Regional Morgan Horse Show to be held in Springfield, Illinois, September 2-5.


Riders for this saddle seat competition must be at least 14 years of age and a member of the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) in good standing. Applicants who have previously competed in two Team Morgan events are ineligible. Applicants are asked to submit an application, horsemanship patterns video, video resume, and a written essay. The application fee is $50, and riders chosen for the competition will be required to help find sponsors for at least $500 to help offset expenses. Applicants also are responsible for travel expenses to and from the event. Deadline for applications and videos is June 1, 2009. Applicants for team coach also are being accepted at this time.
