This manual was developed for 4-Hers involved in the 4-H Horse project. This manual should help expand your knowledge about horse behavior, which will help you better understand why a horse does what it does. The manual contains information about the basics of horse behavior, horse senses, domestication, mating behavior, ingestive (eating) behavior, foaling behavior and horse learning.
