Parenting Tips for Your 11 Month Old Baby

Most child development experts suggest waiting until a child is between 2 and 3 years old before teaching him or her to use the toilet.

At least wait until your baby:

  • Has a bowel movement at about the same time every day
  • Can tell you in words that he has to go
  • Can undo clothing, including snaps and zippers
  • Can relax and let the urine or bowel movement out
