The Young Horse Management series was produced by the University of Kentucky and contains a step-by-step system for teaching the young horse how to accept equipment and commands used in standard handling and riding activities. This series consists of how to properly catch a horse in an open field and how to halter and lead a young horse, the proper use of the war bridle as a training aid, basic ground handling and training, and how to lounge, drive, saddle and ride a young horse for the first time.
