Dandelions covered my lawn this spring, so I called a company to have them treated. Unfortunately, they accidentally sprayed my organic garden. They used a herbicide containing three chemicals: 2,4-D, MCPP, and dicamba. Can I plant anything edible in my garden this year?

We have a garden plot with sandy soil and want to amend the soil to retain more moisture. A local racetrack will provide well-rotted manure if we haul it away. Can horse manure infect our vegetables with a disease that will make us sick if we eat them? How do we tell if the manure is well rotted, and what will it do to the vegetables if it is too fresh?

I planted several varieties of seed into potting soil, then I heard that they will not sprout because of damping-off. Am I going to have to start all over with a nonsoil mix? I covered the containers with clear plastic wrap. When should I remove the wrap? When should I begin to turn over the soil in the garden - when it is dry 6 inches deep?
