  1. We recently rescued a horse from a farm and are trying to find out more about him. We were told that he was a Standardbred horse, and we think he is about 17 years old. When checking his teeth, we noticed that he has a tattoo on his inner upper lip. Would it be normal for a Standardbred horse to be tattooed in this way?
