  1. I dug up 30 Amaryllis from my parents’ garden; I want to keep them as a memory. They were dug and potted last year after blooming. The leaves have remained green and not died down. I want to transplant these to my yard in early spring. Do I need to dig them every year? Updated: April 22, 2008
